3MF to STL is a focused browser tool for converting 3MF model files into STL files for 3D printing and slicer compatibility.
Use 3MF to STL when you have a 3MF file but need STL output for a slicer, printer workflow, CAD handoff, or compatibility check. The tool focuses on geometry conversion, live 3D preview, scale controls, centering, drop-to-floor positioning, and merged or split STL export.
3MF can store information that STL cannot carry. During export, the STL output preserves mesh geometry and dimensions, but it does not preserve 3MF colors, materials, textures, metadata, or build-plate information.
The converter is not a mesh repair tool, a CAD editor, a public API, or a CLI pipeline. It is designed for quick browser-based conversion and preview before downloading STL files.
3MF files are processed locally in your browser during conversion. The model file is read by client-side code for parsing, preview, and STL export. This design keeps private models on your device during the conversion workflow.
